The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks has been named "Sub-Compact SUV of Texas" at the 2024 Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Truck Rodeo, announced today at the San Antonio Auto and Truck Show.
Automotive journalists and content creators evaluated vehicles and voted based on their interior, exterior, value, performance and overall personal appeal at the 2024 Truck Rodeo, held September 26-27 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, Texas. Jurors evaluated vehicles within each model's category and against the entire fleet of vehicles that participated in the Rodeo.
"The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks is a compelling small crossover and very deserving of this year's Sub-Compact SUV of Texas honor," said Cory Fourniquet, president of TAWA. "I truly believe this is a great SUV for modern Texas families that offers a lot of features that won't break the bank."
"The all-new Nissan Kicks delivers when it comes to available technology, striking design and a confident driving experience," said Nick Reese, director, chief marketing manager, Nissan Americas. "We are grateful for this important recognition from the TAWA jurors to show how Kicks is truly upping the ante among compact crossovers."
The 2025 Nissan Kicks tackles city streets and beyond with unexpected levels of available technology, a street-smart design inspired by high-end sneakers, best-in-class standard ground clearance1 and a versatile, roomier interior. The new model also offers enhanced confidence behind the wheel with Kicks-first available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive2 and available ProPILOT Assist3. The new Kicks is on sale now with Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) starting at $21,83044, less than a $500 increase over the previous generation model.
