BMW Group Classic is looking forward to inviting you to “Wheels & Weisswurst Lake Como” at Villa Erba on Sunday, May 22nd. The new event on the area within walking distance of the Villa d'Este will be deliberately relaxed according to the motto "Casually Celebrating Cars". With a Bavarian touch from the organiser's homeland, "Wheels & Weisswurst Lake Como" welcomes international BMW, mini and automobile clubs from all brands. Many automobile enthusiasts will make their treasures accessible to visitors on the grounds of Villa Erba. A separate area is reserved for the automotive star guests from BMW M history. Among the guests will be three of the legendary BMW M Ring taxis from the Nürburgring.
On the occasion of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2022, around fifty automotive beauties from almost one hundred years of vehicle history will be presented in seven classes, the names of which reflect the anniversaries and superlatives of this year's competition:

50 years of BMW M – this is also the reason why many BMW Group Classic collection vehicles that represent this history are being brought to Lake Como in May for exhibition purposes. Historical BMW racing vehicles will be represented as well as BMW M series vehicles, but also absolute historical eye-catchers from the BMW 7 Series.
Another highlight is the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. Over a four-year project period, three extremely unique automobiles were designed for individual Rolls-Royce customers. The next chapter of Boat Tail will be shown at this year's Concorso d'Eleganza.
The 75th anniversary of the Italian car manufacturer Ferrari is also honored with its own competition category: The extraordinary history of the brand comes to life in the class "The Cavallino at 75: Eight Decades of Ferrari Represented in Eight Icons".
2022 is a very special year for the iconic Villa d'Este. Originally designed as a palace as a private residence for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio in the 16th century and transformed into one of the finest hotels in the world in 1873, the Villa d'Este celebrates its 150th hotel season this year. It's impossible not to be drawn into the understated glamor and history of Villa d'Este, as the Grande Dame has hosted some of the biggest names in cinema, art, literature, politics and business over the past 150 seasons. The legendary hotel has stood the test of time and evolved gracefully. This centenary year will honor the traditions for which Villa d'Este is famous and revered, while also celebrating the continuous innovations that confirm the hotel as a developing icon within the industry.
