The 70th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring 2022 starts on Saturday, March 19 at 10.10 a.m. local time (3.10 p.m. CET). Already on Thursday, the BMW M Motorsport teams will compete with the BMW M4 GT4 in the two-hour race of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Turner Motorsport will line up with two cars, driven by Auberlen and Dillon Machavern (USA) in the number 95 car and Foley and Vincent Barletta (USA) in the #96 BMW M4 GT4. Stephen Cameron Racing fields the #43 BMW M4 GT4, with Sean Quinlan and Gregory Liefooghe (both USA) at the wheel.

For Turner Motorsport driver Bill Auberlen (USA), the 12-hour race in Sebring marks a very special milestone: It is the 500th race that the IMSA record winner will contest with BMW. The Californian has been part of the BMW M Motorsport family since 1996, and in this quarter of a century Auberlen has celebrated numerous victories with every BMW racing car he has driven. In Sebring he will be on the grid in the Turner Motorsport #96 BMW M4 GT3 together with Robby Foley and Michael Dinan (both USA).
At the same time, BMW M Motorsport welcomes a new family member to Sebring: Paul Miller Racing. The team from New Jersey, which has been successful in the IMSA for several years, will compete in the GTD class with the BMW M4 GT3 from Sebring. Madison Snow, Bryan Sellers (both USA) and Erik Johansson (SWE) alternate in the car with starting number 1.
