The new 2025 Ram 1500 debuts globally with a new family of 3.0-liter Hurricane port engines across all lines. The 2025 Ram 1500 offers customers three engine options, including the new 3.0-liter Hurricane and 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output Straight-Six Turbo (SST) engines from the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family, and more powerful cylinders segment, and the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 eTorque. The new Hurricane engine is 3.0 liters and has an output of 420 horsepower and a capacity of 469 lb.-ft. The high-output engine has an output of 540 horsepower and a capacity of 521 lb.-ft. It features a payload capacity of 11,000 pounds, a maximum payload of 2,500 pounds, and a water clearance capability of up to 24 inches. A new ultra-premium Tungsten model is available across the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup, which also includes Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn and Limited models. In the third quarter of 2024, a new Ram 1500 RHO will join the lineup with the 540-horsepower Hurricane H/O, and it will also increase the power of the off-road line and the old performance leaders in America. The 2025 Ram 1500 offers new Hurricane engines in 3.0-liter Standard Output and High Output versions. These new engines, part of the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family are very powerful and cylinders in the segment, offer greater carburetor economy and lower emissions, while generating more horsepower and torque than older naturally aspirated V-8 engines and six-cylinder engines Enhancers of the light vehicle segment. The new 3.0-liter Hurricane engine is equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 in the Ram 1500 lineup. This and the three engines in the 2025 Ram 1500 also have an automatic transmission with March 8 TorqueFlite, optimized smoothness of the brand's cylinders to ensure fuel economy, performance and a high level of maneuverability in all directions.
