The new Alfa Romeo Milano shows the signature of the in-house Centro Stile. With compact dimensions - length 417 centimeters, width 178 centimeters, height 150 centimeters - the compact SUV combines modern and balanced proportions with clear lines and striking surfaces. The designers at Centro Stile Alfa Romeo have chosen a thoroughly emotional design language. Rooted in the history of Alfa Romeo are, among other things, the short body overhangs at the front and rear, the muscular wheel arches and the steeply sloping rear, the so-called “Coda Tronca”. This is a reference to the legendary Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ sports coupe from the 1960s and offers an optimal tear-off edge for the air flow.
At the front there are full LED matrix headlights with a “3+3” signature next to the traditional “Scudetto” radiator grille. For the first time, it is available in two different versions: “Leggenda” (Legend) and “Progresso” (Progress). The “Leggenda” version features the historic Alfa Rome lettering, which is based on the Alfa Romeo sports cars of the 1920s and 1930s. “Progresso” is directly inspired by the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and features the cross and snake from the brand logo.
In the interior, attention to detail and high-quality materials come together. The handy, small steering wheel and the ergonomically optimally placed controls underline the concentration on driving pleasure. The central instrument panel in the “Cannocchiale” design cites historic Alfa Romeo, but features state-of-the-art technology. In the middle of the instrument cluster, a fully digital 10.25-inch TFT screen (26 centimeters screen diagonal) provides information on the most important driving and vehicle data as well as the settings of the driver assistance systems, for example.
Another 10.25-inch display is placed in the center of the dashboard and is used to control infotainment, connectivity and various vehicle settings. This touchscreen features widgets - graphical elements similar to those on a smartphone - and allows for intuitive interaction through simple drag-and-drop. The representation can be highly individualized.
The front seats can optionally be ordered as sports seats, which come from racing specialist Sabelt. Charming detail: The air vents are decorated with four-leaf clovers - a homage to the lucky charm of all Alfisti and racing cars of the brand, known in Italian as Quadrifoglio.

A powerful hybrid synchronous motor (HSM) is used in the new Alfa Romeo Milano Elettrica. This drive guarantees uncompromising driving pleasure and high driving dynamics. The electric drive of the new Alfa Romeo Milano Elettrica draws its energy from a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 54 kWh. With the 115 kW engine, the range is 410 kilometers in the WLTP cycle or up to 592 kilometers in pure city driving. With fast charging with 100 kW (direct current), the battery is charged from ten to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.
There are two fully electric performance versions to choose from: Alfa Romeo Milano Elettrica with 115 kW (156 hp) and the particularly sporty Milano Elettrica 240 in the VELOCE version with 176 kW (240 hp).
The mild hybrid of the new Alfa Romeo Milano Ibrida is a 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 100 kW (136 hp) thanks to a turbocharger with variable paddle wheel geometry. The electrical component consists of a 48-volt lithium-ion battery and an electric motor with 21 kW of power, which is integrated into the innovative six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
This drive technology ensures a smooth driving experience with the ability to drive purely electrically at times. The new Alfa Romeo Ibrida will later also be available with the Alfa Romeo Q4 electrified all-wheel drive.
