Mitsubishi Motors announced the world premiere of the new COLT for June 8, 2023. The market launch of the small car in Europe will take place in autumn 2023. The COLT was specially developed for Europe and features numerous advanced technologies. In addition to the new ASX, which will be coming to German showrooms as a compact SUV from April, it will complement Mitsubishi's range in the important European B segment.
The base model has an innovative 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 49 kW, which is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. For customers with higher performance requirements, the COLT has a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 67 kW, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. The highlight of the model series is the efficient hybrid drive (HEV), which combines a 1.6-liter petrol engine with two electric motors and an automatic multimode transmission. The vehicle thus achieves an output of 105 kW.
All drive types will be available from autumn 2023.
- 1.0L MPI: 3-cylinder petrol engine with multi-point injection and five-speed manual gearbox. Power: 49kW. Fuel consumption (l/100 km) short distance 6.6; outskirts 5.1; Landstrasse 4.7; highway 5.9; combined 5.5; CO2 emissions, combined: 130g/km. Values according to WLTP.
