The TRIWO test center in Pferdsfeld near Bad Kreuznach was once again the venue for a weekend full of driving pleasure and passion for cars. This year's event consisted of the "Alfa Romeo Driving Experience" on Saturday and the "Gran Premio Alfa Romeo" on Sunday. It attracted both motorsport enthusiasts and loyal Alfa Romeo fans. The "Alfa Romeo Driving Experience" on Saturday, August 24, 2024, offered the owners of Alfa Romeo vehicles the opportunity to experience their cars on a professional test track. More than 70 participants brought their production vehicles and tested their performance on the versatile track of the TRIWO test center. Under the guidance of experienced specialists, the drivers were able to fully enjoy the sporty characteristics of their vehicles.
A special highlight of the weekend was the "Gran Premio Alfa Romeo" on Sunday, August 25, 2024. 220 participants, including international collectors, presented their impressive vehicles. The selection ranged from historic classics to modern Alfa Romeo models. Highlights included an Alfa Romeo TZ 1, which caused a sensation as a road-going racing car in the 1960s, or a 6C 1750 from pre-war times. In addition, many Alfa Romeo GTA and GTAm models as well as 8C models were among the participants. A historic Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, which is considered one of the most beautiful automobiles of all time, also stood out in particular. The parade at noon under the motto "70 years of Alfa Romeo Giulietta" was another highlight and brought around 20 Alfa Romeo Giuliettas from 1954 to 1985 onto the track.

Niccolò Biagioli, Director Premium Brands at Stellantis Germany, was enthusiastic: "Pista & Piloti is an impressive example of the enthusiasm and cohesion of our Alfa Romeo community. This event allows participants to fully experience the essence of Alfa Romeo driving fun and the special atmosphere of our brand." Marco Wimmer, founder of the event agency APPIA and initiator of Pista & Piloti, added: "It was great to see how many fans and their extraordinary vehicles came together again. Pista & Piloti combines the passion for Alfa Romeo with the thrill of motorsport and creates unforgettable moments for everyone involved. A special strength of our event, however, is the liveliness of our Alfa Romeo community, which makes this event a very special experience every year."
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale also celebrated its German premiere at the weekend. The new edition of the legendary sports car is a homage to the coupé of the same name from the 1960s. The highly customized two-seater, manufactured in just 33 examples, was an absolute crowd puller alongside a historic Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Another crowd favorite was the new Alfa Romeo Junior. The small car will celebrate its market launch at German Alfa Romeo dealerships in mid-September and could already be seen in action at “Pista & Piloti”. At times the Alfa Romeo Junior led the vintage racing cars around the track as a pace car and showed off its dynamic side. Under the motto “Racing with friends”, “Pista & Piloti” has been combining enthusiasm for Alfa Romeo vehicles with fascination for motorsport for several years.
